Stars Dance Tour Experience

So around 7 weeks ago Mackenzie, Lindsey, and I went GAGA for Gomez. We attended the Houston show for the Stars Dance Tour. The acts included Christina Grimme, Emblem Three, and Selena Gomez.

Before I start on this long rant, can we talk about how Christina Grimme can rock the messy ponytail?
Anyways back to the Blog post..
Christina Started off the show singing songs that literally got everyone in the arena pumped. It truly amazed me how she can stay behind a piano for a whole song, wear normal clothes, have her hair in a simple updo, and still grasp the audience's attention the way she did. She is an EXTREMELY talented musician and I would love to see her perform again.

On to the next act....

    Emblem3 Emblem3 Emblem3 ...
They came on after Christina and kept the audience pumped. It is literally like watching 3 extremely talented chimpanzees play on a jungle gym. They are so carefree when they perform, and I think that's why people love them (other than the fact that they are extremely good looking and very talented).

Last but not least Selena! She put on a great show, and I was truely blown away. Coming from Disney, I did not expect her to sound so mature. I was definitely proven wrong. Her choreography was so intense... if that was me I would be passed out on the stage. She sang her pop/up-beat songs, and also some unplugged versions. My favorite part was when she sang Love Will Remember. The pureness of her voice was so captivating it literally brought me to tears. All-in-all Selena Gomez knows how to make you to dance and cry in the same night.

One Direction Concert Experience

So if you follow my instagram (http://instagram.com/allyvannewhouse) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/allyvannewhouse) you would know I get a bit crazy when it comes to celebrities. I don't know why, but I just have a very strange obsession with musicians, concerts, and all things in the music industry... maybe because i'm tone deaf and jealous of everyone's angelic voices. So on that note, I thought it would be fun to take y'all back and revisit some of the awesome concerts and other celebrity encounters I've had.

(Disclaimer:  I'm not actually this creepy in real life.)

So on July 21, 2013 I went to Houston to see two little bands I like to call One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer. (You can watch in my vlog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whRJ4kchDEU ). Talk about emotionally unstable. It was a very entertaining concert, I mean who couldn't be entertained watching 5 gorgeous boys act like complete fools on stage? Between the "Punk rock" (; of 5SOS and the whatever genre One Direction is classified as now, the concert was an absolute blast!

Oh and did I mention Zayn totally posed for me? He is looking at me, and your disagreement is irrelevant.

So enjoy this super collage of pictures from my concert.

Makeup Review: Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss

Everyone in the beauty world has been raving about the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss. It is a high intensity lip color that lasts up to eight hours, which from personal experience has lived up to its word. I personally LOVE this lip product because you can put it on and you won't have to worry about for the rest of the day. If you tune into my YouTube channel, you will notice that I wear this product a lot... and by a lot I mean mostly every single video. (:

There is a variety of colors to choose from in this collection. I've purchased three of them, 109,111, and 10. My personal favorite is 109, because it is a natural orange/peach color, and it looks fantastic anytime of the year. The colors suit any skin tone. These colors can either be dressed up or down. For a normal day at school I normally apply a fair amount of the lip color onto my lips and spread it using my fingers, or a lip brush. ( fingers are quicker and easier) By doing this it tones down the normally bold color to a shade that is more appropriate for a day in Hell.. I mean high school.(; For a night out I normally go for the " Go big or go home " style, which is easy due to the awesome pigmentation the lip stick has. One swipe across the lips and you're good to go!

This brand of lipstick is affordable (coming in at a whopping $4-$6 per tube),  easy to manage, and is available at most drug stores. I recommend it over most other brands I have used in the past. All in all I give this product an A+!!

First Post!

So I've decided to create this blog to highlight the day by day excitements in my life. I am not much of a writer but I thought I would give it a go! On this blog you can find video updates for my YouTube channel ( http://www.youtube.com/user/AllyV416), My fashion/beauty advice, and an exclusive look into my everyday life. Well now that all of that jazz has been said I guess I will tell you a couple of things about me!

So I am currently sixteen years old and going to be a junior in high school. I play Volleyball and I also enjoy film making (Hints the YouTube channel).  I'm looking forward to writing more, and seeing where this blog goes!

                                                                         Thanks for Reading! Ally
